Your App Store privacy label
The SDK’s privacy manifest
Section titled “The SDK’s privacy manifest”The package ships a PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy. Xcode merges it into your app’s privacy report. It declares:
- Tracking: no; no tracking domains.
- Collected data: Product Interaction, not linked to the user’s identity, not used for tracking, purpose Analytics.
- Required-reason APIs: none. The SDK uses none of the APIs on Apple’s list.
What to declare in App Store Connect
Section titled “What to declare in App Store Connect”Under App Privacy → Data Collection:
- Usage Data → Product Interaction: collected.
- Used for: Analytics.
- Linked to the user’s identity: No.
- Used for tracking: No.
- Location → Coarse Location: Millimetry derives the country and region on its server from the connection’s IP address, and never stores the address. Apple’s definitions don’t clearly settle whether a location worked out on a server and then discarded must be declared. Declaring Coarse Location, used for Analytics, not linked and not used for tracking, is the conservative choice.
If your own events carry other kinds of data, declare those too. For example, a property holding a purchase amount is Purchases → Purchase History. That is one more reason to keep properties to product interactions.
Diagnostics
Section titled “Diagnostics”Millimetry does not collect crash logs or performance data, so declare nothing under Diagnostics for Millimetry.
